Anyone know if you can pay at the gate ?
At a premium of I think £2? I am sure you are aware the venue is now Dronfield a long way from the previous venue in Central Sheffield
Does anyone know if the game is on the radio anywhere?
If so - where please. A link would be brilliant!
It's on Radio Merseyside Total Sport
It's on Radio Merseyside Total Sport
I have found Total Sport but nothing about our game. Have you any more info that can help me to find our commentary, please.

Found it - thank you all.
26 mins before Sheffield break the deadlock. Max Rhodes not come back on after HIA, good effort so far. 4-0
Incredible effort.
Players deserve immense credit for wearing our badge with such pride.
Lindsey, Grice & Jupp went well. Lewis Hall led the team magnificently.
The team to a man were excellent , made sheffield look like the poor team they are , Jupp was good and numerous others stood up to a big pack , some cracking players there but I would have thought they're going back to parent clubs , maybe try to tempt one or two for next season
Oh and to answer my own question , you can pay at the gate , £20 match day
Sounds like some effort, that.
I was expecting a 60/70 point hammering.
Well done to all of the lads!
A very interesting game. Sheffield had a good side out . It shows that younger upcoming players can play in this division. Yes a lot of those loans will return to clubs but in a way they were on trial.....coaches will have been noting how they went in this game. The better ones may well be retained by those clubs but some and more from other clubs will be released .....there is young talent out there.
What about next season?
AC has cemented his core (some of which tbh I would have liked to see go).. .the argument is there's nothing better out there at what Widnes can afford. Maybe.
There does seem to have been a conservative approach to younger players at Widnes and a reluctance to play then.....maybe AC thinks it's too risky .
Maybe the performance will result in the Widnes players from last night getting more game. time and a more open approach to finding younger talent.
Next season new players will have to found.....the age profile of the core team is rising too much
Can the line up already signed challenge for top spot?(assumes London and no other relegated SL club are there.....otherwise its second) ?
Tbh...i think not......3/4 is more likely. To be top dog an X factor is need....it's not there atm.
I agree with you up to a certain point Owl, but part of me also thinks that if you can put together a scratch team and just have a couple of ‘getting to know you’ sessions it says an awful lot that they can then give one of the better teams in the league a really good run for their money the standard of the game in the league is ar an all time low,
