@pauliewalnuts Dead right. Folks have been a bit unkind to Brooks. I suspect that the stats would show that he makes good yards and is not the penalty machine which is alleged.
That first half was almost flawless, even though we were facing the wind and pinned in our 25 for much of the time. A shame we reverted to suicidal type later, gifting interception tries and kicking out on the full. Still, we steadied the ship and saw the rest of the game out well.
I thought the first half was probably the best we have had all season. We spent most of it defending our line and repelling a strong Sheffield pack and each time we went down their end we scored!!! cant ask for more , defense and attack. Their first try was from a fumble into their arms and I really don't understand a second kick out on the full now that's criminal, you learn after the first. However we had enough about us to finish off a decent well structured side who are in the top three for a definite reason. Defo Shane for MotM but I still think Roberts and Butt give their all every week and deserve a mention.
I thought Lucas Green played really well today . A real team performance
Excellent first half, bit of a wobble in the second half but we managed it well. Good to beat them. Very important win today after the last couple of weeks.
I thought Sam Brooks had probably his best game. Lots of 'go forward' and I don't recall him giving any penalties away.

Sam Brooks did play well drove it in well and didn't drop the ball or penalties away. Best I have seen him playfor sure. Grady looked like never been away and has kept himself fit and if get Sam Wilde, Lannon and Nathan Wilde back their is a headache for Coleman.
