Rochdale

I have decided not to go to Toulouse as it is a tiresome exercise and having seen us win once there, maybe I should be happy with that

instead I have booked tickets ( through Widnes) for the cup game at Rochdale.

takes a bit more time to get there - 3.5 hours as compared to 2 but Will obviously be worth it

so you enlightened people on here can you talk me through the places to go to in Rochdale, such as sausage restaurants etc and all the similarities with toulouse

i await the response

The Town Hall building is a beautiful Gothic structure with a converted cinema opposite, which is now a Wetherspoons (or was, last time I was there). Spotland is nowhere near the town centre.

Home of the Co-operative society.

Apart from that, it's like Islamabad.

Enjoy

Paulie xx

Back in the Middle Ages there was a pub called the Cemetery Hotel which we used to visit for pre-match pints whenever we travelled to Rochdale.  Beer there certainly used to be first-rate and the pub is still there apparently.  It wasn't that handy for the Athletic Grounds but it looks quite close to Spotland on Google Maps
