No DR players in the squad for Sunday. Also no Craven or Roby. We should still be good enough to beat Whitehaven.
Only Craven and Roby missing, Edge was unlucky to miss out last week so Edge for Roby does not weaken us in my opinion. Craven is our best player, it gives Lyons a chance as him coming on for the last 10 mins isn't doing him any favours, he would be better getting game time in the reserves.
I wonder if we will go with 4 forwards on the bench? Farnworth, Jay Chap, Leuluai and Dwyer? I would give Hatton a game as he was first choice last year and has scored some tries for the reserves.
I'd have thought it would be Edge or Hatton rather than both. Edge has done fine but I'd probably give Hatton a game as he seems to have been excelling in the reserves.
I'd put one of the hookers on the bench, possibly Callum Wood. Along with whichever Chapelhow doesn't start plus Farnworth and either Dwyer or Lulu.
Dugdale injured then? Presumably a debut for Hulme or Wood, Grady back into the first 13 and Farnworth into the bench.

Dont think we’ve got a chance of keeping Dudgdale past his current contract, but the only chance of him extending it is game time in the first team.
I'm surprised he hasn't featured. Might be that Sheens is trying to protect him from too much first team action because of his age but he showed last season he is clearly good enough to feature. Maybe not every week but Oldham/Whitehaven would have been a good opportunity for some game time.
