we have appeared in the last 5 games to have no creativity - in the halves for sure

Those 4 wins early on were against bottom 4 teams apart from fax where we scrapped a win.. think everyone was willing to give the turnip a chance.. but he has lost the dressing room it's plain to fudging see..we have a few injuries but those players in the 17 are better than that.. I don't believe that there is no coach out there to take the job on.

Sometimes Change helps, See Burnley in the Prem, same team as Dyche ( and he is a great manager ) but freshening things up and giving players a clear slate can sometimes help. What is clear right now is that Finnegan is not getting results, either on the scoreboard or in our performance level.
And its killing our support, which will slowly kill our club. What we didn't know for certain in the beginning was that 3 of those first 4 games were against the weakest teams in the division, And the fax game was anomaly given the conditions and how the game panned out.
If today was a standalone situation of us being injury hit and outplayed I think it could be explained and to some extent excused.
However, we had some dreadful performances last year, including Whitehaven putting 60 on us and being battered twice by Batley. This was then compounded by the 5 losses in a row with 4 of them us scoring single figures.
The reality is on the body of evidence we have seen, in League matches since last year its played 30, won 13, drawn 1, lost 16. So a win % of 43%. That's the reality.
Reality I be off to Pinkies all day rather than to watch them again with Finnigan in charge . We are crap and need a new coach soon and this idiot has recruited badly.

Think you'll find if you look back many people were tipping Batley to win.
You won't get too many arguments that the squad is average, but it is natural to question the coach and board/CEO who recruited such average players.
It's not a case of we lost to Batley, it's a case of we have been poorly coached and signed poor players.
It's not getting beat by Batley, its the performance. No fire no creativity. Letting them roll down the field. Said against leigh It was full time but Batley was the same.

Sometimes it's down to the players to show some grit and have some pride in what there doing! When Batley got hammered by fev 20-54 in the cc, the week after We were down to our last 17 one guy turning out after 3yrs we drew 20-20 and probably should have won! Every player showing real grit and we fought for 80mins. And that's not down to coaching its down to individuals showing pride in what their doing!
Batley are a pretty good side in this division and have a better than 50-50 chance of making the playoffs. The frustration is that currently Widnes are not competitive against a strong but not outstanding second tier side.

It is more to do we have Recruited poorly as I am sure our budget is much higher than Batleys. Also we have not recruited a decent Coach for years too. If get a good coach you build a decent team and more fans turn up.
