Heard a rumour one of our current props has signed for Swinton with immediate effect, anyone heard anything?

Would be disappointing, but not all that surprising.
He’s a good player and better than some other props on our books.
If true that really bad news - ant is good for a 15 minute burst, if he goes we are well short with the saints lad on loan going to them as well
but I would be very surprised if this happens, walker contracted so doubt it
Well i was cheeky and asked someone close to a player at the club. Not revealing who but when I asked this person is Ant Walker training with Swinton they did not reply. That made me think it is true. 🤣
If this is true possibly Field and Reilly are back soon, or signed another player?
I am not too bothered especially if get a player who can do longer spells on the pitch. He is not a bad player but I don't think he has made a big effort to become much fitter. I wish him luck but definitely better players than Ant Walker we could find to replace him.

Confirmed that Walker’s joined Swinton. Bit disappointed we've let him go, had good hands for a prop. Hopefully we’ll replace him next season.
Brogan’s signed on loan until the end of the season and Keanan Brand has joined on a months loan. Think they’re two good bits of business. Would make more sense to, unfortunately, dual reg with Leigh next season given the relationship Coleman has with them.
I think that’s good news. I think Brogan is is a better player than Walker, he will definitely be able to play a lot more minutes than Walker, who doesn’t seem to have got any fitter over the last 18 month, and with the weather getting warmer, would probably struggle even more.
Brand should be good at this level, hopefully he can stay more than a month.
Fair play to Coleman, who was honest saying not in his plans for next season. I wish Ant Walker all the best, but I trust Colemans judgement and he has a better player in Brogan. He will be fitter in the warmer weather and more minutes on the field than Walker. Feeling positive with Coleman at the helm. 🥖🥖

We are continually being told we have cash available for players yet here we are again losing a player and taking people on loan. We also had a decent prop from Saints who played one game and then went somewhere else.
