@sinbad Sheffield are in Toulouse next week, also have to play the Bulls and Fev. Toulouse have to come here, all ifs and buts, but AC is confident 5 wins will give us 2nd place.

@sinbad over the next few weeks Bradford Toulouse fev and Sheffield have a few games against others not all of them but a few so 5 wins would probably give us a good chance of 2nd as we only have Toulouse left to play once more.
He has got this wrong. I have just looked at all the remaining fixtures for the present top 8 teams. If we will all games we will finish either 3rd or 4th. Either gives us a home tie. I reckon Featherstone & Bradford will win all their remaining games. So will probably finish Wakey. Bradford & Toulouse 2nd & 3rd ( could be either order). We could only get 3rd if we overtake Toulouses points difference at present +292 ours +98 as both finish on 35points. So us 4th then Fev 5th, Sheffelld 6th.
We would I think finish 6th with just one more win. However I hope we do much better than that. If we finish 4th we would play Fev at home. At 5th or 6th IMO it is more likely its Toulouse or Bradford away.
After todays win v Sheffield I think we only need one more win to get 6th if York, Doncaster & Batley's games go as I think they should. However I think we will now finish 5th .It seems the that the mid season blip could come and haunt us now for a top 6 play off place especially with our remaining games
The coach talks about finishing high as possible.Second place isn't guaranteed even if we win all remaining games and maybe not even third place. Not sure why he has gone public about five from five anyway,it's something for the privacy of the training ground and dressing room between the players and coach. Not for giving your opponents some extra motivation.
@sinbad jeez you’ve had a right bee in your bonnet with anything Coleman does or says since the Fev post match comments the other week.
he’s passionate and gives a crunchie about the club progressing and winning as many games as we can to end the season. Better than half the other coaches who sit on the fence and say nothing to enthuse a fan base.
im a fan of him saying publicly they want 5 from 5 it puts that expectancy and should be a motivator for fans to get off their arse and get to the games to support and push the players towards that goal.
cheer up a bit mate 🤣

Seems to me that York and Sheffield have the hardest run in, without taking anyone for granted. It will be interesting to see how York do at Whitehaven after their result at the weekend. I have assumed Barrow are too far adrift at 17 points.
It's going to be close until the end
What a pity that the Championship has become even less visible- from 2nd to 13th it is really good this year. Don't even get the table on Sky Sports News anymore!!
Would have taken 6th in Feb so would be hypocritical to say otherwise now, but Top 4 would be fantastic.
@pauliewalnuts Eagles losein France and their pd takes a hit. Another piece in the jigsaw

But it means nothing to us if we lose at Batley.
Business needs attending to, at Mount Pleasant.

It really is going to be a nail biting finish.
win today we move into 4th, 1 point behind 3rd and 2 points behind 2nd
lose today and fev and York win their games, we drop to 6th only 1 point above 7th York
the team need as many fans packing in the stadiums for these remaining games giving them support. We would have all taken a play off place as progress this season and build from there
up the Vikings
Dead right SV, but it is an exciting end to the season, with lots of teams capable of getting into the playoffs and we are right in there, best season for years all round.
In reality I think 3/4 th is the best we can do - given the massive points difference between us an toulouse
unless we beat them 90 points !
