Maybe because he has played wing and full back all his career, maybe put him in the second row or prop.

I think it would be better if the club bought someone who is actually a half back. Playing a good full back at scrum half means we still haven’t got a scrum half and we have lost a good full,back. It means we now have two weak positions instead of one.
Better to play our best players in their best positions and try and bring in good players to fill in the weak spots - just saying.

But considering, Owens played all his youth at half back, considering he’s a good passer of the ball and tackles well, I would suggest he is a better half back than Lyons.
Owens did fine for me in the few games he has played for us at stand off. That said, I would still prefer to have him at fullback as he organises the defence better than other players we have tried there.
