@pauliewalnuts

playing in front of small crowds in a massive stadium does not make for a good atmosphere, if you want to play at Wembley do it at 3 o’clock in the morning ( my opinion only )

@7-vikingnomad We might as well play at 3am. The 1895 should be a pre-curser to the MAIN event. (In my opinion) But then again, I don't think the CC should be at Wembley anymore.

Might as well go back to NRC style at Blackpool if that’s the case

@pauliewalnuts A couple of lads I work with went to Spurs a couple of seasons ago and said it was far better than Wembley!

Been sent, from another forum, a proposed fixture list and we would be playing Barrow, Dewsbury, Doncaster, Featherstone, Halifax, Hunslet, London, Crusaders, Oldham, Salford, Sheffield and Workington as our home and away.

Not sure that could be described as a balanced fixture list!

I enjoyed our NRC victories at Blackpool, stayed over on the Saturday night and made a weekend of it. Sadly I don't think Championship RL has the crowds anymore to justify it. Warrington would be a decent stadium or Leigh. I would prefer the Championship to have its own day rather than playing at an empty Wembley too late in the day.

@cj91 agree there that is basically the same as last years championship fixtures apart from batley.

will be interesting to see swinton fixtures as they will probably have virtually all of last years league 1 apart from NWC so they will have a much easier set of fixtures than us.

also how will a 10 team playoff work - the mind boggles with the RFL

And inviting the Aussies to visit has opened our poor organisation to the world!! The Aussies can hardly believe it!!! Proud to be British?

I bet the SL sides are looking forward to playing at Odsal!!!

Good enough for them. They reap what they sow. Let's hope we have a wet summer in 2026.

This new fixtire system is mad. The likes of Swinton & Hurricanes & Sheffirld to a lesser extent will have much easier fixtures. All teams should play each other once, some at home others just away. Then 2 local teams home & away.

It is not perfect but with what has been agreed we may as well have retained the 2 divisions as they were with new sides brought into League 1 as Goole were last season. That would be a much fairer system for all.
