Else would be a great pick up .. absolutely a running half that's certainly improved vastly since he was last with us ...but like Spidey said can't see us paying a fee so unless he's got himself released from a contract that runs to end of 2027 it'll be surprising if it's him ..
Like previously said french elite has just finished so there'll be a few there worth a punt ...Theo fages...herrerro...Albert all top halves but no doubt expensive.....we shall wait with anticipation lol

Well if I was cynical (which I am 😂) ...I'd say either the gaffer has jumped the gun saying we'd announce something today....or he was fully expecting it and he's been let down by those trying to sign it off ..... actually 3rd time this season the boss has stated a "new player " in post match interviews and them not materialize.....maybe tomorrow 🤞

We could say the same to the people on here, who love to pull the rug from under the Club's announcements. Why don't Poster's stop playing into hands of the grifting RL Journos, who scroll through these posts, and subsequently put rumours out to the masses. One of which cost the Club investment the other week.

@pauliewalnuts well for one thing ....the signing "rumour" wasn't a rumour ...it came from the gaffers mouth himself....as far as other things I'd completely agree if it wasn't for the fact I'm not gullible enough to believe an investor pulled out on the back of John Davidson taking out of his back end ....investors as you say would be privy to seeing club account...see how the clubs run ...if all that and other things were tickety boo theyd know it was nonsense ...if they did indeed pull out that'll be down to either they saw something they didn't like or weren't serious in the first place ..or just didn't exist in the first place ..club will be saying we've lost another on the back of Mick gledhill next ...
@cumbria-viking I don't mean AC saying there will be a signing/s, I mean people putting players names on here. As for an Investor, I doesn't have to be British Steel, it could be a local back street garage that was going to take up a box for the season. At this level of RL every little helps.
