@pauliewalnuts ah fairdos ....my take as an investor is someone wanting to come into the board to which obviously if there stumping up decent money your obviously wanting to see the books as lukey boy did before walking away ...your obviously not going to invest if it's pointless and most certainly wouldn't be influenced by a grifter talking pap behind a pay wall ...but obviously if it's someone along the lines of sponsorship route I absolutely stand corrected 🙏
an investor ........donator would be the correct term I believe re RL.....your chances of a return are zero
Unless you rob a club lol
An investor or donator or whatever you want to call them has offered 50k a year plus more sponsorship and the club ignore that but are more than happy to say in a statement someone walked away because of a few tweets online something really isn’t adding up what is going on behind the scenes at that club!…
might be putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5...but the fact he's a Widnes lad ...I've heard Danny Richardson is on the move to a championship club ....may very well not be us but definitely wouldn't say no
Being reported he has signed for us.
Be a decent player in the Championship. Solves the goal kicking, too.
@viking25 I agree good signing but.... he isn't a running standoff more of a better Gilmore? I don't see how it solves the running half problem?
always moaning I know lol 😂
@vikingfox71 Correct, a decent player if fit, we need a half back and its difficult to get one at the mid stage of the season so his signing makes sense. However his game is too similar to Gilmour. A kicker and organiser not a runner.
French/Smith, Williams/Sneyd, you need a running stand off and a kicking/organising scrum half. Patton also too similar to Gimlore.
It will be even more difficult when the Championship cap comes into place, but we may find the better players look to move from the clubs with the smaller caps. I am available at the end of the season as director of recruitment free of charge if called upon 🙂
