With the latest injury update, if all the maybes like Maizen are fit we have 17 players. Plus the 2 loan lads from Warrington and York. 19 just isn't enough.
Guessing we may try to extend Lawtons 2 week loan with the loss of Kirk and Langtree.
No word on the permanent signing mentioned to replace Reilly yet.
@pascal Crusaders train at Widnes and previously standish. There is only 1 Welsh born player in the squad.
Thankful that Langtree is a pec rather than shoulder. Hard to rush the recovery but not so likely to finish a career.

Similar to the injury suffered by Tom Gilmore, at York when he first re-signed in 2023. He was out for 4/5 months IIRC, and needed an op.

Looking at the injury update, we will struggle to name a 21 man squad- no doubt injured players will be named in that
good to see hall back - he may make a difference
Lyons back at 6 is an improvement on Jack, but not the best
where are the new signings ?

If you ever get a chance go on Widnes Rugby chat with James Gordon and Mike Parsons. The latest episode 17 they chat to Alan Coleman and in talks with players, but we all know players have agents and it will be what club offers the best deal. The reason we got Foz is because on a 3 year deal and many other clubs were interested in him. Hopefully we find some more sponsors, WVIPs members, so to offer more than other clubs mate. Hopefully we sign some soon, but I have a feeling the dual and loan system will be used this weekend.
Long time since last game but will give it a go with my zimmer frame !
