Who do we think would take over this team? Mike Grady is a really great guy, I knew him years ago but doesn’t have any experience at this level but he couldn’t do any worse than kear.

The payoff shouldn’t be that big, given his contract is up in a couple of months.
I’m not sure the club can afford not to sack him. Home crowds have dropped game on game. Just how long can they go before action is taken? Why would anyone who isn’t a season ticket holder pay to watch this Widnes side? Dreadful atmosphere, boring and probably won’t win.
I think they have to act. I can take losing, but I can’t take the boring rugby and the players resembling an unfit, disorganised rabble
I do not think we are in any danger of relegation, so I would keep Kear for the season, but start looking straight away for a replacement.
It is high time we had a coach with some real quality and an ambition to play entertaining rugby .
We also need to start looking at players we would like to try and sign for next season and have a budget set so a new coach knows exactly what is going to be available.
In the meantime, I think we should adopt the old platters song The Great Pretender(s) as our team song.
- @griffin1 couldn’t agree more with this statement, no point hating on kear et Al, rather just start looking at possible replacements and players for next season as this squad needs a huge amount of changes.
