. Lyons is a bang average Championship player who offers little in attack or defence and also no kicking game, but I guess that is where we are at the moment.
Sounds similar to that other scrum half that we had, went to Fax and the Batley.

I hope that I am proved wrong and Lyons massively improves in all aspects of his game. I will then join in with everyone applauding Finnegan and Finney, for their foresight in tying him down to a two year contract. Finnegan must clearly rate him and he is a better judge than me.
Lyons is a funny one, rarely plays badly but also can’t remember a man of the match performance by him, maybe playing in a pack going forward will be more beneficial but I am surprised it’s a 2 year deal for me a 1 year deal would of been more suitable given he still has a lot to prove

But the announcement has disappeared from the club site!
Early on in the season there seemed to be too many cooks and that was sorted by Smithy becoming loose forward. Maybe there was a re-organisation to concentrate on that, cooling down Lyons and Craven? It makes some sort of sense.
Have to see next year when we will have a few more decision makers - Fozzy etc! And hopefully a big pack leader (Ben Cross/ Robert Relf lookalike!!)

Agreed, the club have got rid of the likes of Buckley who in my opinion wasn’t good enough, he’s bottom half of championship at best so the club do see something in the lads we keep on and shut off ones that don’t

Not sure what the club see in him, and I hope I am proved wrong. If a back up option and cheap then fair one but Pascal prefers Else.</p>

This!!! I can’t recall a single game where I watched him and thought he can run the show. He’s a solid player but he has to improve his running game to be considered a talent, very rarely breaks the line.
