No Sargent again in squad - will he become another player signed not to appear for us ?
selection - the only change in the start in line up will be Richardson in at 6 and Jack moving into the centres - probably Taylor being sacrificed
bench May see a tweak or two, lawton and maybe the non prop prop back

To be fair Langtree can be viewed as an acceptable prop, although would like to see more of Houghton. Lawton needs an run perhaps. Taylor to be fair has been injured until recently. No Sargent again in squad - will he become another player signed not to appear for us ?

Sergent still not 100%. AC said in the recent interview with him.
I think this is an important game for us. Hunslet are in 14th position but have put some good wins together and ran us close at our ground and only for a very dubious decision at the interception should have won. However I think our latest form, defence and game play though has been superb so I’m going for a blow out again 46-4 mom Matty Fozzard with a hat trick.🏉
I would play Sergent in a few weeks vs Crusaders away. I would also play the likes of Connolly, Houghton and Lyons if fit. We have the midweek game vs Doncaster coming up and since the takeover and the 1st team squad leaving, Crusaders have been shipping 80 to 100 points per game.
Great game from the lads
hunslet are not the worst team in the league and I would take battye any day of the week - not sure why he there- must have got involved with a Yorkshire lass/ bloke

sorry I was on about bent - langtree is a far better prop as he makes yards
bent is great in defence but rarely makes yards
but he had a good game today
looks like we may have turned the corner - Friday will be the big reveal
i hope a decent crowd - circa 3K and a win would be nice
An excellent win and some fine rugby played by the boys, thought Foz, Billington and Connell stood out and Im sure once Richardson settles in we will be a more of a threat. Can’t fault defence again, great effort, well done boys.
Shame these fantastic efforts an results from players being overshadowed by the off field nonsense by a few numpties!
well done fellas on another great win and another nilling.
Great win. In second gear, yet still scored 50 points.
But this league is a farce. There’s far too many games where we can just cruise through them. Bit a worry for when we play Oldham & Doncaster next.
My thoughts, for what they are worth -
the team are playing really well and are playing for each other
I think we will beat Oldham and Lawton will be at his absolute best.
but because of the fixture structure we will not go above Oldham due to their huge points difference
Also think we will turn over Doncaster on a stupid Wednesday night fixture
london at home will be a really great game
@7-vikingnomad I respect your opinion, but Battye is 5 years past his sell by date. He was garbage today. I wouldn't pay him with the holes in washers.
Paulie xx
To nil 3 teams in a row is fantastic! Great to keep the run going.
Agree of the league being not competitive enough. The only fixture that was anything like close today was a 26 - 6 win for Oldham vs Batley (a top Championship team vs a mid table Championship team) our 48 points was todays second lowest score after that game! A 94 - 0 win for fax and a 66 - 0 win for Newcastle. It was a really competitive league last season which is a shame.
Big games coming up vs Oldham, Doncaster, Barrow and London. All at home, we only won 1 of the reverse fixtures away so it will be a real good test of how far we have come on this current run of form.
No doubt there are harder games on the way, but the difference for me today was that we made some reasonably significant changes to the team and it didn't disrupt us, I don't think we have been able to say that for a while.
There are quite a few players who are unlucky not to have been chosen today.
There is no argument that we are doing well against teams who would have been in lower division last year, but Barrow and Newcastle are benefiting from that more than we are.
