Highlights here:

Gilmore incident 3:30 ish. Fair play to the Halifax commentator for calling it as it was.

Johnstone with an incredible tackle on the hooter.

An absolute farce of a decision.

Some strange penalties all round. Ince got pegged for two penalties in the second half for competing for a kick and for tackling someone as they passed. Even that one where Gilmore stripped the ball, didn't see where a high tackle was.

It did look like Gilmore may have knocked on when scoring but that was the only wrong  decision that went our way whereas at least 3 wrong decisions went their way that more than compensated for the Gilmore one. Considering the changes to our team that was an excellent win. However overall Jouffret lost it for them with that schoolboy error right after we equalled at 20-20 for the second time in the game. Nevertheless we took our one try scoring chance in the second half which did show we found a way to win. Well done one & all.

Unfortunately I am away for the Bulls game.

From the highlights Johnstone may have got a head knock carrying out that match saving tackle with another Viking defender coming in from the opposite side. I hope he is ok.

Sam Wilde has been immense this season. Will be gutted when his departure is announced

@sunny A Widnes spectator at the Swinton away game told me He had heard Wilde was leaving, presumably to be replaced by the Halifax second row Lannon who has been rumoured to be joining next season.  If I was Coleman in view of the Langtree situation I would not re-sign him but keep Wilde as well. Not many second rowers in this league both tackle asmuch  & attack as effectively as Wilde. Wilde is also 3inches taller than Lannon & half a stone heavier. We need a bigger rather than a smaller pack! Coleman seems to like smaller forwards & players generally which is baffling.

@sunny  Apologies to Coleman. It has now been confirmed on the club website that Coleman admires Wilde & wanted him to stay but he is changing jobs & said he needs to leave due to shifts & work demands. Maybe being confirmed now due to to his departure becoming public knowledge.

And Ince caught the bomb in his in-goal area, so we should have had a 7 tackle set.

I know Ref's can have a bad day at the Office, like anyone, but I'll bet nobody who was there, or have watched those highlights can ever see that as a Fax penalty. It's beyond a shocker.

JJ was fine coming off the pitch, he'll be ripping into the Bullshitters next week.

Sam will be really missed. What a shame in one sense, however his work future obviously comes first.

With all the moaning about the quality of our side you have to admire the way that JJ and Foz have manufactured a partnership that is making us metres and opening up defences!!!!

I think we have a decent spine of a team it is the depth of squad to cover injuries is the problem. Callum Field is injured now so will need dual or loan for the rest of the season. Gutted Wilde has gone but we need to retain most of the players except the injury prone ones like Langtree and Gregson for example.
