Do you think the RFL have yet had enough time to investigate this incident, James?
I'm sure there is a process - they will be asking for statements off multiple people across both clubs, then they'll be waiting for responses and/or arranging face-to-face calls. Then clubs would need to be notified / given chance to appeal. I doubt there'll be anything public about it until the investigation is complete, but it is ongoing.
I don't think there's any evidence on the video footage to suggest the injuries Widnes players suffered on the day were deliberately inflicted by Swinton players, but that doesn't excuse the 'tip sheet' image.
I'm not too fussed about the injuries, they happen, including running at injured people that even happens in kids games. But the noose thing, very very poor taste especially for a sport that prides itself on mental health blah blah blah. Glad to see Swinton got snorted again today, hopefully they go down. Meanwhile we've taken their coach and best players. Up the Vikings.
I see Ant Walker was not playing for Swinton today.
It's well over 3 weeks now since the RFL started to investigate.
Perhaps people will forget the longer they leave it, maybe summer holidays are slowing things down, or possibly another excuse?
Seems to be shrouded in secrecy.I've asked both James and Mattew Shaw on Twitter and neither has responded.Perhaps the matter has been dealt with behind the scenes without any public announcement and with reporters asked not to comment on it.We can only surmise

Probably told not to comment on it mate. Either be swiped under the carpet or just a joke of a system taking its time.
