Typical bloody council though! Still won’t let the club get away fan revenue – I hope Fev fans are grateful for them paying for Out League coverage.

As a Fev fan I'm extremely grateful for the OurLeague coverage, but am unclear who you mean when you say grateful to "them" for the coverage - if it's Widnes then yes much appreciation.

Cases are going up, so by the 19th July when we can have full capacity the risk will be higher than it is now.  The decision to let no away fans in literally defies logic. I really enjoyed the Featherstone away match a few weeks ago.

It does seem odd when levels are quite high in Halifax, Bradford and Halton and our fans were allowed to go to Odsal and the Shay.

It doesn’t defy logic if you take into account the rise in cases and the lack of sense in people moving around the country possibly increase the risk of infection. Everybody wants to see freedom of movement and - in this case - people going to the match, but there are limits to the risks that councils will allow.

Too true Glynn especially for old farts who, like me, are in the “vulnerable” group.

I’m very grateful to our club for sticking with these streams.

Good on Widnes then, out of interest have your recent games had an "OurLeague" commentary team or is it your own in-house people?

So from the 19th July will the council let fans sit where they want and allow away fans in, or will they continue to impose restrictions? I assume they will make an announcement next week?

I assume it’ll be back to normal with South Stand re-opening now.

They’ve got no remit now to impose restrictions. Whether that’s right or wrong is another discussion, but can’t see how they could impose them

Thought all the vulnerable have been vaccinated long time ago ?

I'm led to believe all restrictions imposed by the RFL will be for the season rather than end on 19th July.

What that means for stadiums I'm not sure as we currently obey the Government guidance on this rather than any RFL guidance, but I don't think the match day experience will go back to 'normal'.

Well he wont go the game as he is venerable, so a decent enough question though why you have to jump in is beyond me.

If that is the case the clubs will have to make some noise. No club will want to turn money away if the Govt  advice permits open access. People will have to make their own call.

Sounds a bit like there is a cunning plan by a few to move Rimmer on. Not before time.
