Those present; Stu Murphy (SM), Tyler Brady (TB), Mike Parsons (MP), Sara Jones (SJ) and Paulie Walnuts (PW)

Firstly, Kev Buck, who is no longer a FA, was acknowledged for the work he has done for the Club as part of the FAG. The Club also acknowledged the work of the FAG. Since the last meeting it was reported back to the Board about the positive work that has been going on, and that the FAG would continue to meet, going forward.

It was noted the potential to increase the FAG, and the Club would put something on the 'Socials' for any fan who may be interested. TB to create a 'media piece' for applicants, set criteria points, and invite potential FAs in for a chat. There is a plan to invite young supporter Tom Heaney to attend a future meeting, for a younger Fan perspective. What kind of pre-game activity will get Tom's age group into the Stadium 30 mins earlier? (Action TB 15-08-26)

North Stand issues;

The additional Bar has been open for the last 3 games, and waiting times have been reduced from a 12 minute average, down to 4-5 minutes (monitored by CCTV by the stadium management). MP raised that that a lot of Fans were unaware about the additional bar, and asked about some directional signage being displayed. (Action SM).

South Stand issues;

There are still problems with Away supporters sitting in Home Fans' allocated seats. If this can't be resolved, the Away supporters may be moved to the North Stand in 2027 (Action SM to discuss with HBC).

Fanzone (West Stand);

The Fanzone hasn't been a success in the Sports Hall. It has been decided to try and make it work in the North Stand Concourse at the final home game (Workington). We are still awaiting confirmation on this from Phil Black. (Action SM to follow up with P.Black & Bruce Reardon)

Team Sheets;

The supply of matchday team sheets have been ample in some areas, less in others. The present average distribution is 200. At future games the Club will roll these out in batches of 50, to different areas, to monitor usage. (Action TB)

Q & A;

The question of attendance figures was requested, SM will liaise with PW re; data share.

Family Ticket offers; These were discussed, but are a frustration as the RFL haven't told us the dynamic of the Championship going forward into 2027. We don't know who we will be playing, or when. Whether there will be 2 divisions, 1 division, or fixtures decided by the RL Roulette Wheel, as in 2026. So basically the Board will decide when they know what they re dealing with. The 'Set of Six' ticket looks likely to stay, although it can only be used for unallocated seats, and Kev Buck's Community Club ticket has been a success engaging with 200+ Young Vikings.

Foundation Teams; The Women, LDRL & Wheelchair teams are seen as 'WIDNES VIKINGS'.The FAG would like to see these teams promoted by the Club 'better', and to strengthen the WV Brand awareness. SM reported back about aligning all teams Social Media posts to the same template. (Action SM to arrange for MP to sit with TB in order to help out, when required).

And its that time of the year again, yes, SH!T SHIRT DAY!

Always a fun day out at the last away game, but as we are unaware of when the Sheffield game will be, it's been promoted to this Sunday's game at Halifax. The Club intend to give a small prize to who is deemed to have the most horrific Hawaiian number, captured by Ste Jones' intrepid lens. Remember, Ste's camera is feared of no shirt, and he always gets the shot!

Next meeting; no date set

In addition to the above, the POP-UP shop in the North Stand, will become a more permanent fixture. Steel lock-ups are to be installed by DCBL management team and will enable Sara to instantly open up for business, and close in time for her to witness a kick-off for a change.
