Whats is wrong with saying that I am waiting for the club to sign someone? If the club is skint, then they should tell us, they were quick enough put out a video of the CEO saying money is available. If there is no money in the club, the CEO should tell us, not someone on a forum! One of the first thing this new board said, was they were going to be transparent with the fans remember.
Did they say there is money to sign everyone or money to sign the right players... you said it yourself in this very thread. You are like a spoilt little child who wants everything now and then when you have it you want the next thing and the next and next.. things take time, do you think statements will come out because some child on a forum has lost his dummy and wants answers. Stick to watching the wire you compleat 🔔🔚
Do you think they are saving for that eventually Frank. How many times have we been in a situation with no money, maybe the board are looking to a sustainable future and not living for the moment. The people who want answers will have to wait im afraid.
All clubs should have been planning for the inevitable reduction in central funding in 2022, not just Widnes. As mentioned on another thread, Finney did say that money was available if the right player came along. Why say that if it is not true.
It is all well and good looking to a sustainable future, but is the long term plan for this to be in League 1 or SL? Does this plan assume that they will retain the loyalty of fans? If so, they may well be in for a shock or maybe face reality.
Liverpool Vikings is looking increasingly inviting!!!

Liverpool Vikings? That would be the death of the club once and for all
I think Liverpool Vikings isn’t far away I’m afraid!
Where has the assumption come from that the club doesn't have money?
I keep seeing references to it on here; yet there's not really a great deal of evidence to it?
There's a difference between the club having no money, and the club having no room on the salary cap it's been allocated.
Clearly the club is working towards being as sustainable as possible, particularly with the reduction in central funding for 2022.
Steve Price wasn't happy when he had players getting pasted at Rochdale in previous years, but this is a really poor move. I'd be tempted to say we now need to avoid Warrington.
The trouble is, it's a bit beggars can't be choosers at the moment. We need to figure out how we can get away from relying on loan players to pad out the squad.
Club has spent the cap

The club is skint Flash because certain people on here seem to know the clubs finances inside out! (no names mentioned obviously!)
Name some names cape .... who is in the know
He's gone to Bradford.
Widnes Vikings RLFC are in big trouble!
Good Lord.
Your either in the know or not in your case ... stop making wild accusations and making yourself look a fool cape x
He reckons he will do well in a good side, he must have told wire he wasn’t prepared to carry on here. What a mess.
This club is dying. Sorry state of affairs when a loan player gets recalled and goes straight to a club in our division. Makes you wonder why Sheens bolted doesn't it!
