Indeed, this is probably the most alarming developments since the start of the season. Wire sending the player to a part-time in Yorkshire compared to leaving him at the part-time club 15 minutes away suggest to me something iffy is about to happen at Widnes.

The game may be in a mess now, but just wait until the reduction in central funding in 2022. Unfortunately, Widnes seem to be in a greater mess and not even able to hang on to loan players. I dread to think what kind of squad we will have in 2022.
I really think the club should come clean about its financial position and why we have gone into this season with a paper thin squad. If we are in trouble this year, where will we be with the reductions in central funding in 2022 and the inevitable fall in crowd numbers, on the back of a poor 2021 season.

Widnes in a mess more than others though. I hope there’s some recognition of this, and the club aren’t just shrugging their shoulders
Do you think they are saving for that eventually Frank. How many times have we been in a situation with no money, maybe the board are looking to a sustainable future and not living for the moment. The people who want answers will have to wait im afraid.

So why make statements like this..
Whats is wrong with saying that I am waiting for the club to sign someone? If the club is skint, then they should tell us, they were quick enough put out a video of the CEO saying money is available. If there is no money in the club, the CEO should tell us, not someone on a forum! One of the first thing this new board said, was they were going to be transparent with the fans remember.
