The lack of comments today really are understandable, it seems our season has become predictable with our recent form. Start well and drop off. With the injuries we have endured recently it’s not surprising but today we got the result and 2 points. We have another 11 games to go so hopefully our players come back at the business end of the season.

Very nice to win, but until the second half we made hard work of it. Then we played some good rugby and kept going right until the final whistle.
Despite having a couple of good players Dewsbury deserve to be bottom. Lots of (mainly unpunished) high shots and IMHO they gave up with about 30 minutes of the game left.
Fozzard was easily our best player, and before anyone else says it, the worst performer on the pitch was the referee.
Thought that was a decent performance.
Professional, ground them down in the first half and scored the points in the second.
Obviously still a few question marks, but a win and something to build on.

Lost players to injury again today which affects the interchange, however I thought we were the fitter team , scoring the majority of our points in the last 10 of each half , hopefully Kirk back next week and Field with a game under his belt makes us stronger up front

No you’re right . It happened in the Catalan Salford match yesterday and Barrie mc Dermot said , if you tackle someone whose catching a pass while he’s still in the air, it’s not a penalty, only if you do it from a kick.
Obviously no one had told todays ref, I don’t think he had been told much, if the touch judges hadn’t helped him, it would have been even worse.
Unfortunately there aren’t enough refs around, and we’re having to endure young kids being in charge, and they aren’t up to it.

I thought he was just substituted for playing crap... Brand made a much better fist of the job when he went to FB.
