@a-cape I don’t know if you are referring to me but I wasn’t defending the coach in my comment but rather suggesting that the players take responsibility for their actions. To be fair to dewsbury they played well for a league 1 team, we just played extremely poorly for a championship team. I agree that kear isn’t a tactical mastermind but who wants the job at an underfunded championship club with expectations of success. The only way to improve this season is a couple of new bodies to strengthen squad and get competition for places back and when injured players return hopefully kick on

Maybe we should be looking down to pick up some players?

Very poor performance today, Walker made two good breaks but nobody noticed quickly enough to back up!!!!

Might help sort out any prospective positional changes, we haven't any!

If we have any ambitions for the play-offs, there needs to be a big reaction in the coming games from both the players and the Club.

I thought we should have been good enough to beat Dewsbury, but they outplayed us in every aspect of the game.

Not sure that the knee jerk reaction to sack the manager is the right approach, but couldn’t put forward any defence on that performance.

The Directors need to look at this performance and question whether they expect fans to keep turning up for this level of performance. Something needs to change and soon. If the club does have any money to spend, they need to bring in some fresh blood to the team before the next game.

Its a very difficult thing to play RL without any Half backs, At any kind of decent level defences can deal with what Widnes had to offer today.

The Squad is paper thin, and full of broken players. The Fax game was a freak performance, this is Kear Rugby, its always been his style, Rugby has moved on over the last 30 years.

The Biggest Losers today are Swinton, since that will keep many ( Me included ) From attending on friday when we have the option of staying home and watching the Hull Derby, followed by the Wigan V St Helens game. Without Paying to be frustrated by Awful rugby.

To be fair Frank, the way we dropped off against Newcastle was shocking. The writing was on the wall today i'm afraid. As Sinbad has said, we have been papering over the cracks for some time

Hatton would normally be pushing with Ant Walker as shown in the Toulouse game but was he 18th man.

That defeat was all on Kear. We were dire last week but, Kear pretty much went with the same side.

Also Amor is poor. it’s all well taking a carry but, you need to work in defence and work off the ball too.

If Hatton was fit enough to play today it was a very poor call not to pick him.

We dropped a bollock years ago when Terry OConnor brought his right hand man in (Barrie Mac) we haven’t learned because we’ve brought in Amor, who, was a top player, but is now a player stealing a living and on wages we simply cannot afford. But Kear has got to go.

@cuerdley-viking but why do we wait until it becomes a crisis lose the fans etc before we get forced into changing? We needed players weeks ago kear can't change a team we can't even name 21 some weeks ! Today wilde in the centre never a plan and we've needed a centre for weeks you lose Gilmore yet don't sign a half back we have no one in the club who looks forward it's always easier to recruit when stronger than when your losing games and you've let all other teams have first pick !!! Rant over well played dewsbury

I watched on The Sportsman. Absolutely shocking. No excuses for that against a team in a division below.

Since Gilmore got injured in first game  we have not won away.

As a start as  I have said before Captaincy should be taken off Jack & Edge must take goal kicks in future.

We definitely need a good creative half back & another big prop. Where we are going to get them is another matter. Need to look to Australia or similar I guess. A young SL half back is not the answer.

Swinton away is a must win but not holding my breath.

Mr.Amor talks a good game on the TV,Pity he can’t apply it on the field of play anymore,A totally demoralising result for the fans,The disappointment never ends.

@mckviking there are people paid a wage by the club we love to make these decisions, not fans who have to pay to watch that utter clout we’ve had to put up with for far too long now.
