or do we get more decent money the further (for how long our luck lasts) we get in the cup
Despite the farce a good draw in terms of being at home I’d fancy us to progress and hopefully get a decent pay day off a super league side in the next round, the only draw worth getting financially away from home was probably hull kr overall a good draw.

Good draw for us, we should beat Swinton then just 3 games from Wembley 🙄. I would like another home tie against someone from our division, then a money spinning home game against a SL club (Warrington?)in the quarter finals.
Will the club drop the admission price again? This time for everyone.
Wakefield last year probably didn’t due to there attendances not being the best same as Huddersfield, hull kr on the other hand are better supported and a 50 percent split of there home gate wouldn’t of been too bad, but more than happy with the draw we have would be nice to get a wigan or a saints further down the line as we have next to no chance of winning it.

I agree, think for any club in our division, you always either want a tie you can win, if not, at least draw a club that will get a good gate - although these days even up to the quarters and semi, crowds are not great. If we can get the win against Swinton, something like Salford away would be the worst of both worlds.

We've not played you all that often in the intervening years, but not succeeded at your gaff (against Widnes that is) since '87, when Les Holliday slotted over the one-pointer to clinch it for us, so we're more than overdue a win!
I don't think there's any doubt you'll be the favourites, but we'll be heading there hoping to extend our Wembley dream!
