Don’t have an issue with the game trying to expand and Cornwall could be a great place for expansion, I believe the French elite league could well be on par with the championship in a few years, as an expat living in Australia, New Zealand and now the USA I am hopeful the NARL kicks on and I live an hour south of Portland so could be watching them play soon enough. Rugby league has never really been showcased well over here only Union which most yanks find boring
I’m not a yank but, along with many others, I find Union boring to watch too.
Must be his twin brother who is playing for AS Carcasonne
Would the average 'yank' even notice the difference between union and league ? I doubt it and I doubt they'd be interested enough to have it explained to them.

You should really know the difference between last year and this year
By that point, Mullally had already agreed a move to Carcassonne on a one-season deal, having spent the post-lockdown summer in Cornwall living in his camper van, pursuing his passions of surfing and getting back to nature while doing some part-time work as a landscaper.
@sinbad I tell the lads in work about rugby league all the time and show them clips on YouTube most of them like the big hits and no pads or helmets side of it
@mckeeverviking Yes I'm sure most of them do.Same anywhere really, you can show any group of blokes some brief footage of RL and most will like it.Getting them to watch an entire game and pay for it though is different. Not just in the USA but Cornwall too.And Widnes !
@sinbad I agree, I watched widnes growing up so it’s a vested interest for me to watch widnes. I have that history with the club and understand the game. That’s what is hard to get with a new audience. When I watch American football I can see what’s happening but I don’t know the players or moves etc. What America does best is put on a show and that’s what I think can happen here. The games on its arse back home because it’s not marketed well at all
