What’s the problem with him? A lot of hate on Twitter never heard of him Untill now
@rl-the-winner fair enough but what’s he actually done involving the club that’s a problem? Not defending him just wanna know
He hs been Mr OLDHAM for decades - a true RL man.........and the board must think he can doa job for us with the IMG set up now...........shall we give him a chance?

Give him a chance at what? Playing scrum half?
I think there is time to reserve judgement on CH until the appointment of a new coach, the plans for next season and the outcome of league position.
Let's not forget there have been people in positions at the club for a lot longer, on and off the pitch.

I met him on the unveiling night of the black shirt and was quite impressed with him. He was brought in as back room organiser not playing staff as far as I know, so I would ask people to take a step back from a revolution where CH is concerned
@martin we was playing well until Hamilton arrived could be a coincidence of course or maybe him and kear never got on!

not disagreeing with you but he was brought in to oversee our IGM and backroom day to day running, not cut the players wages or tell JK to play Jack Owens at scrum half. All a coincidence I’m afraid not a conspiracy.
@martin Chris is in the changing rooms at
full time having his say, watching training sessions, apparently being asked to be included on every communication to do with the coaching and football department, I’ve heard an employee has left last week because of him. He is no better than previous according to some players who aren’t keen on him either. The man seems to have a big ego

not defending the man here but don’t you think it’s about time someone told the players how it is? Obviously kear and Grady couldn’t, maybe he’s just as fed up as all of us with those dreadful performances.
On the same wavelength erik. THe promotions etc will be decided on the IMG plan.
They are looking to change the image of RL into a truly professional sport managed by professionals and competing in the public eye with RU, female soccer etc. (Much like Lewis was trying to do, against impossible odds!).
Before Sunday's debacle it looked as if the Board were sorting the backroom staff out to make sure that all the off-field boxes were ticked, as SOC did. That will be essential for promotion.
On field is always a variable and can be fudged if everything else is OK (Remember the North Rail Cup). It's the 'professional' front that gets the publicity for the game overall.
Right now if I were a Board member I would feel like walking away and letting the keyboard warriors sort it out!
Of course they wouldn't and the club would fold!!!

I agree with the players bit, they 100% need telling. It was really a one man show with Kear, never involved his staff which I believe was probably his downfall in the end. Onwards and upwards
Just to chuck my two penn'orth in, from personal experience, the bloke seems a bit of a knob.
Never heard of Chris Hamilton before he joined us, but thought most fans were calling for a more professional approach to the development of the club, particularly meeting the IMG criteria.
He has been described on here as a hate figure, a snake, a knob and entirely to blame for the team’s disastrous drop in form. I presume that the Directors will be aware of any disquiet within the Club about his performance to date and can be asked to comment at the next fans’ forum.
Maybe we should check whether Phil Finney is available, if needed!!!
