Wire have moved on Joe Bullock to Hull FC (along with Matty Russell) on a loan deal.

Good this dual reg palaver, is it not?

We have not used him though have we? He did not play v Bradford. Hull is a more intense game scenario so can see why this has happened. Having said that surely Wire should have loaned him to Hull in the first place rather than offer him to us for a few days. That is 2 players they have pulled  back now. The last time we dualled with them it did not go so well either.

Lets hope it will work better as the season progresses. Some clubs appear to get some SL players for the season whereas others pull them back within days. The RFL need to standardise the rules that all SL clubs must follow othetwise it is not a level playing field for Championship & League 1 clubs.

This dual partnership is bollox and always best to have your own squad. DR only use in the forwards for injuries and as you say RFL need to make these rules fairer. If I had my choice, I rather have a full-time big squad, but that all down to money unfortunately.

@geoffw They didn’t play for us because they were in the Warrington squad, they obviously didn’t want them cup tied.

As stated wire wouldn’t bother giving us them players due to no game this week and the challenge cup next week. Obviously once are season properly starts they will give us more players.

To be fair, I'd say dual-reg is more likely for their young up and coming players (ie. Whitehead) than getting the established full-time SL players who can't get a game.
