If plays like he did today until end of the season I change my opinion. Had a top game like a different player.

If keeps this up to the end of the season definitely worth signing up for 2025. I see Chris Hill leaving Huddersfield I wonder if he like part time now at 36 nearly 37 years of age? Still looks good but getting on now and can't see many Super league wanting him long term at 37.

@pascal I wondered that - esp with AC’s Leigh connections would he convince the ex-Leyther Hill to have a stint here? My only reservation is the likes of Kyle Amor and how much impact (or lack of) he had coming down as part time…?

Yeah my thoughts too but I think Kyle Amor came with the wrong attitude by going off to Benidorm and doing more on sky. Plus under Kear it seemed to be jobs for the boys mentality and Kear was topping up his pension. I think Chris Hill is from Leigh and with Colemans connections it could be a shout. He does not live too far Chris Hill and Kyle Amor lives miles away, so wasn't a good signing. I do have reservations due to his age, and being part time your not as dynamic. One thing he definitely has size for our pack, and something lacked over the years.

We probably need six props for next year. So far we have Kirk, Murphy, Field, Brooks and Reilly (I can't remember who is contracted for next year). I think I am right in saying Lannon sees himself as a middle, which makes six. Personally, I would be happy with these guys as their attitude is good and they clearly want to be part of the club. Obviously we haven't seen Reilly play yet.

Second row looks more sparse. We lose Wilde at the end of the season, who knows if Langtree would be fit to play again? That leaves Lloyd and Bent (maybe). It would be great if Grady would play on, but that might not happen, Roberts is probably more comfortable at Loose. We know Field and Lannon can play second row, but there should be a direct replacement for Wilde at least.

Half back Rag I would write off Langtree and Gregson. Plus I wouldn't want to risk them with their injuries. Definitely need a decent back rower for Wilde and nobody knows Gradys plans.

We've probably got enough cover if Gregson decides to call it a day, but if Langtree does then we will need new second rows.

Personally I would not risk Langtree with his injury record over the years. Great if fit but a big gamble. We need more durable players so not over reliant on loan or dual players. 👍
