Sad to read of the recent passing of Brian Hogan. He was part of the ‘73 team built by Vince Karalius, that laid the foundation for the successes of the 70’s and80’s.
He was a hard uncompromising forward of his time, with a fair turn of speed and good ball handling skills for a prop; and what a formidable front row with Jim Mills and Keith Elwell. I think Doug Laughton was also brought in around the same time.
Condolences to his family.
