Absolutely delighted to get the result horribly wrong...and on that basis I'm going for Whitehaven to win next week...can't disturb a winning formula 😂

Very strong second half- thought our tactics were spot on- we tired them out and our faster players and smaller forwards went in for the kill brilliantly in the second half. Nice to have a buffer to 7th too!

I know it’s a few months ago but the second half of the Halifax game takes some beating👍👍

Great win today, both squads are struggling with injuries but 2 points is 2 points

When their team walked out I said to our kid , he's big , he's bigger , fudge me how big are these ? I thought they'd smash us in the middle , all credit goes to our middles though , they tackled all game and their big lads were knackered second half , best display I've seen for some time , I think Joe needs a big up , as a SH taking on some of their biggest he never took a backward step and still was able to do his attacking job . I'll be at haven next week and hope for a similar display

Really good win, some really good tries from Ince and Butt that took some scoring. And we defended really well.
I think if we win our next 2 games, we are almost certain to make the top 6.

Some well known spectators there today, Andy Gregory and Degsy wearing a Widnes replica shirt🙄.Was told he is matey with Coleman who works for his  company

Top win today a shame about the attendance and Alan Coleman deserves more support from the Town. It seems Brand will be back next week with another loan signing to the end of the season, according to James Gordon on twitter. Any updates on Edge, Field or Flemming?

And Kevin Brown was 2 rows in front of me in the gold seats, he looked big and fit as well

Give credit where it's due. Coleman has been able to build a team with some skill and resilience, playing an open game and defending with great strength; summed up by the try saving tackle by Butt towards the end of the game, when a Bradford try seemed certain

Most on here, including me. predicted another poor season, with a small squad and bringing in players from teams that finished below us in the league. We still have a squad that is too small, not helped by injuries and releasing players mid-season, but the players have stepped up to the mark and performed way above my expectations both individually and as a team.

We were by far the better team yesterday and a well deserved win. Difficult to pick out individuals when the team as a whole played well, but I thought Gilmore once again controlled the game and Lucas Green looks a great prospect for the future.

I was disappointed with the attendance, but hopefully fans will return if the team can maintain this level of performance for the remainder of the season. Another good performance and a win at Whitehaven next week should see a larger attendance at the next home game against Featherstone on 11 August.

Fleming hopefully back next week. Think both Edge and Field are long term.
