@ditton-donkey Paul Salmon and Andy Isherwood during Neil Kelly era.Isherwood may have played a part in the pre season game in South Africa.
Ok but did they sign at season start and miss a whole season ?
Nice to finish the season off with a win and apparently an extra £10k in funding.
Can safely assume Walker and Evans are done deals with them not appearing against us this week.
Hopefully a much improved season next year and one that involves Play Offs.
@ditton-donkey neither played a game for the club after signing pre season. Not sure if they were on the books the entire season or released.
@steve 31st september at odsal
need a big stadium
Don’t think that’s right, there’s only 30 days in September
Something in League Exp about Evans going to Barrow - but there are two Evans boys!!!
Any win at Bradford is a good win, despite them being very poor this year we still needed to win. Tyrer and Smith both retire now which was put on Olly Davies' twitter feed last night about sending them off with a win.
Whoever decided to sign Levy really needs to be held account here, to sign a player who didn't play a single minute of a whole season is a serious failure which has cost the club money and the chance of another forward contributing to the club.
Some big recruitment decisions to be made over the next few weeks (both in and out) as next year we need to get this club back competing. Whilst Kear has tidied the season up well since he came in, 8h in the Championship isn't good enough for this club.
Did the club know before they signed him that he had a bad injury?
Yes, it was common knowledge. He then got another (different) bad injury when training with us.
Levy was in recovery iirc and did recover, only to bust his Achilles in training! That happened to Kavanagh with us and he looks OK now!
You can hardly criticise for future injuries and I guess that he might have been on a minimum contract until he was fit.

It's a fair comment, I didn't recall him getting injured again and assumed it was a season long injury from point of signing. I do wonder what we'll do with that one then, if we want to give him an opportunity next year or not - I suppose that is dependent on what is available and the likes of Eribe re-signing or not.

What exactly were the terms that Levy signed for?
Just asking

@pauliewalnuts 🙄 A packet of crisps and a Mars bar every time he played.
You of course know I don't know that, and even if I did it is no one elses business on a public forum. It is of course also completely irrelevant because if he's taken a squad number, he's costing the club money by being employed by the club.
He left Bradford to sign here so if you're suggesting he was signed on a pay as you play deal and it didn't affect the club that he was injured I'd say the chances of that being the case are slim to none.

We'll never know, nor should we.

Brookes sin binned - James Gordon commentating - "I don't believe it!"
James was justified in his comment as Disciplinary Panel ruled NFA, player was not taken out in the air.
