Definitely not a convincing lead, good first 20. Should be putting more on the board going down the hill as batley will kick on this half going down it.

40 more anxious minutes coming up by the look of it 🤣

Conceding 3 tries in 8 minutes to throw the game away is really disappointing.

blew a good chance at 20-12 to score and win the game as well!

a big loss to Warrington next weekend and then it’s starting to look a bit bleak heading into a tough away game to Doncaster

Listening on the radio it seemed we lost momentum when Fleming dropped the high ball and gifted them a try, I’m not blaming him for the loss but it seemed to turn the game around for Batley

Williams dropped one earlier for their first try. Bread and butter stuff with no pressure on them at all.

Poor performance again this week has finally cost us. Too many errors and daft decisions and you get punished by a well organised team like Batley, they was nothing special just consistent and got the basics right, we’ve struggled for the last couple of weeks to play a full 80 minutes and be switched on. Our left hand defence is poor Hunslet punished us by going that way and so has Batley so no lessons learnt there! Coleman needs to get a grip of them last year teams struggled to score against us this year they look like scoring every time they’re on our line. Our senior plays really need to step up and manage the game much much better, no way should we be up by 8 with 8 minutes to go and have 3 try’s scored past us! Lacked effort and desire today hopefully Coleman can sort it out and get us back playing to our best.( we need pace desperately) WTID!!

It’s been coming, apart from Toulouse we’ve been poor all season.

Never seen a side look so low on energy so early on in the season. Looked cooked in the first 10 minutes. Patton adds nothing to us.

@viking25 no pace at all in the team work only gets you so far need some X factor in attack

@vikingfox71 Most people are thinking along similar lines, but it would appear there's very little the club can do about it.

There’s got to be some money there surely? We’ve just had 2 people recently join the board so would they have to put some money in? We’ve only signed 2 new players this year that’s actually playing Patton and big Gav.

@johng we need a centre for certain with pace and can beat a man

also 4 tries came down the same side the same happened at hunslet so we have a defensive problem

it does seem strange new board members but no whisper of new signings and we don't need kids we need to buy starters

It was the same last year. Apart from a couple of outliers, the majority of teams were/are evenly matched.

I agree mate, we’ve been crying out for a decent centre for years! Somehow we’ve kept Matt Fleming who is probably one of the worst centres in the league and offers absolutely nothing in attack or defence. Unfortunately for us Edge always seems to be injured he’s probably the best centre we have. And again as hard as he try’s Robert’s just isn’t a centre yes he’s scored a couple of try’s this season but he lacks any real quality and unfortunately is just filling a gap.

I agree we need a player with speed, you never fancy any of our players going the length of the field if they got an interception, like what happened at hunslet, hopefully we can get a speedy player on loan or dual reg.
But I don’t agree Fleming is the worst centre in our league. I think he’s had some very good games and can also play well at full back.
