It’s really hard following the game on Twitter because the updates are like a 10 year old just learning how to write description pieces.

it’s embarrassing 🙂

@mt what’s the starting 13 then please - got in late and missed start of radio coverage

but heard we were defending well, including 3 sets of 6 on line and then Davies coughs the ball up to allow them to March forward and score wide out

this is a must win for Widnes, it’s like cup rugby now, we need to win this and the next 2 and then relax

Massive 40 minutes. Halifax and London both ahead albeit narrowly and we can’t afford to slip up

Some win that.

Set for set in that heat and come up winning.

Brilliant. Onto London

I won't be surprised by any result.A narrow win for either team,a comfortable win for either team or a draw.

I was right. 😂

Good win today, with some very good defence, but in attack, for some reason, we went back to the Kear tactics of playing it tight up the middle, and not using the wingers . Thought Dixon came back from his bad game last week, and had a very good game, despite the ball not going wide, he came inside a lot looking for the ball and making quite a bit of ground. He also kept his nerve and made a crucial conversion from the touch line  to make the gap 8 points, with 5 minutes left.
Going to be hard next week at London, but hopefully we’ll be up for it, and come home with the points, and consolidate our place in the top 6.

It was a good game played in extreme temps, resulting in our backs taking a great deal of the ball up. Forwards looked really up for it against a giant of a pack who kept driving in an offloading most of the game, wish we could do that more often. But our defence was rock solid today and for that I’m really pleased as we have not said that a lot this year. Not sure who was MOTM as I think they all deserved it for playing out there👍👍🏉🏉

@martin

But what were the bells for?

At first I thought that it might be for the ref's 'another six tackles', but that wasn't right, then I thought that it was maybe a weird decision like 'holding down', 'offside' or something. But that didn't fit either!
