Martin nobody can relax because we have been crunchie for the last 5 years and people are giving up watching the shite. Rather than suffer watching players put no effort in every season, I have decided to go Cycling on Sunday afternoon. There is many others who are finding other things to do because the product on the pitch is a shambles. People like me and Capey you need to keep, but the way the club runs things is a disaster. Every season mid table on our fan base and this year closer to the relegation zone. Unless the product improves on the pitch then more people will find other things to do. I know several who don't go already because of no communication and crunchie performances on the pitch. Batley and Sheffield run better than our turnips at the club.
Pascal, no one knows this more than, in fact during the SWINTON game it was me who shouted “leave the dancers on” . The point I was making was that JJ wanted to go not the club and the whole forum goes into meltdown. Enjoy your cycling on Sunday and see you at the game on Monday😂😂😂
@pascal You would hope that the club had somebody in mind before the Swinton game and had sounded him/her out with a view to taking over.
Sinbad, when this story broke the whole of this forum and social media went into meltdown, look at the headlines, administration, fan protest. Then people not going matches, cancelling season tickets all because one player wants to continue a career. I tried to straighten out and settle peoples minds, sorry if that’s not how you or other people see it. The club use social media, Facebook, Twitter etc to communicate with the fans then that’s not the truth. I really think this forum is just full of conspiracy theorists who just want to believe the worst. I really, really wish I had never bothered
@martin JJ going to Cas was the final straw for me, as I have already said. The club is goosed, ran by people, who on the face of it look utterly clueless. Enough is enough. I’ll be voting with my feet from now on. The club has treated its fans disgracefully, if you are happy about the way things are, good for you.
Martin hanging his Nieces fella out is doing no good at all 🤣
The lack of communication from the club is, to a degree, a fair criticism. This is probably due to the fact that there are a lack of bodies in the office. I think it's down to 3, Sarah (who does Rolty's old role) C Hamilton, and Ste Roberts. Jack Owens, Danny Craven (now just players) and Ste Jones (media) are now out of the picture. How a 'Brand' at this level expect to be run successfully, with this level of Operation is beyond me. The JJ move and the Danny Craven to Oldham rumours were broken on twitter by Matt Shaw, RL journo based in Halifax, obviously from Cas, Oldham or players agents. Widnes are releasing info to it's 'members' after the horse is at Becher's on the 2nd lap of the Grand National. That is not fair, hearing things 2nd or third hand, not when you are trying to get those 'members' to bring a friend for £15 to a game that will be poorly attended. You can't have it both ways. You either want us with you all the time, or not at all.
Paulie xx
Without statements rumours run wild
we are having (again) a bad run of results , beaten by teams below us on a regular basis
we have now lost 4 contracted players and replaced now by 3 loanees
with little statements - what do you expect - appliase from the hills ?
And this is why even long term fans are filtering away, the first rule in any business is to keep your existing customers returning before you even think of expanding with little irrelevant tit bits. The lack of communication from the club is, to a degree, a fair criticism. Yeah I understand mate I think losing 7 out 8 hasn't helped plus asked for ages to bring 2 big props and a number 6. Personally I feel the board need to be more transparent, because fans will give up.
On a positive JJ has been rubbish and hopefully Forber is a better player. It is about time the players step up and get a few wins now. Duffy or Smith for coach? 🤣🥖🥖💪👍
Martin, as I’ve said to another individual on here, don’t pick one line out of my reasons for not having the urine extracted out of me anymore. As I said on the post that you have picked one line out of, I’ll not be renewing my ST for next year as I’ve better things to do with my time on a Sunday afternoon now. Again, in that very same post, I also said that I’d never have a go at anyone wanting to watch Widnes, but that’s me done with them.
Will you be watching Wire away as well as at home now?
I wouldn’t have thought so. I’ve dusted off my golf bats now. Sundays are now to be enjoyed again.
