Looks like Kilshaw has got a three months suspension of
his coaching licence, suspended for twelve months.
Now maybe we can forget the incident and welcome our Swinton colleague back 👍👍
In other words, Martin, no action will be taken against him unless he transgresses again in the next 12 months. He may even be abroad for this period if what PaulieWalnuts says is correct.
RFL whitewash! This RFL action is meaningless.

He may be your colleague, but he ain't mine. Speak for yourself, Martin
Paulie xx
Right, it's sorted, and I'm back!
When this scenario first broke, I was very unsure whether to comment or not, coz (like you) I only knew what I'd read, so...
After thinking about it a lot, on the following day, I rang a known, prominent, and respected member of this board, saying "I'm not gonna comment on it till it's resolved." And..............
Since then, another member messaged me on Whats App, and I relayed the same answer to her / him.
I've been in contact with 'em since, and they both appear to be sympathetic to my (non) actions.
Please allow me to clear up one thing straight away. There were various suggestions / accusations to the ilk of "Swinton have told Spelly not to comment on the matter." That is totally, categorically, and 101% not the case! At no time at all have they done so.
I would imagine some of you are muttering summat like "You could've posted a 'no comment till it's resolved' message." And as it's taken so long, perhaps I should've, But.....................
I made the choice at the outset, and have stuck by it.
Why it's taken since the summer before a decision was made by the hierarchy, is a mystery to me, but finally, the sentence has now been passed.
Was the picture in poor taste? Of course it was. No argument there at all.
Has it happened in dressing rooms before? Quite possibly in my opinion, but he / we got found out, and thus the excrement then came into collision with the cooling equipment.
Who forwarded / shared / passed on the picture with / to Gregson? Someone who's far more tech savvy than me, that's for sure. I have my suspicions as to the identity of her / him, but there's more chance of me buying a season ticket for the Pinks, than mentioning the name on here!
There were comments of "Grub Club" from some members of the board, and of course, they're more than entitled to their opinion, but..............
If that was the case, why was our CEO made a vice-president of the RFL whilst the incident was still ongoing?
I've regularly logged on to the board, during my absence, keeping up with the messages.
Okay, that's why I've been away, and why I've now returned.
Not for a moment do I think everyone will be turning cartwheels, but as a member, I'm fully entitled to do so!
As regards the Lions who are now Chemics, and our relegation, I'll cover that on the Lions page shortly.
Spelly.
After all this time, giving him a meaningless 3 month suspended sentence merely confirms what many people feel about the RFL hierarchy.
Add in IMG, and 2 leagues with an odd number of teams in them - it's no wonder the game is not in a good place.
Spelly it did not bother me if you posted earlier mate. You are always constructive and have an opion like everyone else. It was not you doing the poster in the changing rooms or being investigated. I enjoy your posts but admit only interested in Widnes winning. 😂👍

Thanks mate!

You didn’t mention what you thought of the punishment Spelly. And what you would have thought if it had been another club.

"Behave or else!" isn't it? And a bit lenient in my view if I'm being honest, although he'll have that stain on his character long after the 3 / 12 months have elapsed, which is punishment in itself.
What would I have said had it been done by the coach of X RLFC against us? Prob summat like "Bringing the game into disrepute."
It's (finally) done and dusted, and we start next term with a new coach, and a new squad. I just hope we make the headlines for the right reasons going forward.
Spelly.
Any decent club would have publicly apologised to both the player and the club involved.

Saw this earlier, but had to go out, hence the delay in my reply.
Hypothetical scenario!
Had (say) Coleman posted a picture of (say) Walker, and since resigned heading for pastures new thousands of miles away, would Widnes have issued a statement of this ilk? It's a yes or no question, so a yes or no answer please.
"Following the result of the long running enquiry into the picture placed on the dressing room wall by our ex-coach, we would now like to apologise for the whole situation to both the player involved, and the club as a whole."
Also, on a previous post of yours, you mention a toxic situation at a Wiltshire club. It currently escapes me as to why that has any relevance to this thread. 🤣
As I mentioned earlier, Kilshaw's stain on his character will last longer than the three or twelve months involved in the sentence passed by the RFL. But....................
The sorry story has finally been resolved, so let's look forward instead of back eh?
Spelly.
Forget it, Spelly, it's over and done with now. We may have differing opinions with the outcome but there's nothing we can do about it.
Look forward to next season instead, eh?

Amen to that mate!
Unless we meet in a cup comp, the Chemics and the Lions will not be crossing swords next term, but we have a couple of byes with there being an odd number of teams in tier three, so I might well still be able to fit in a visit to NP.
Hope Santa is kind to you.
