Exactly so we need to find a French Elite player possibly McWhirter will know someone? When was the last time we had a good running halfback, because from my memory we have always struggled for decent dangerous halfbacks. Riley Dean type next year as I just do not rate our halfbacks highly. Yeah i like Abdul but being realistic he is very unfit and overweight and if was fit he would be playing in Super League.
Nobody trusts Burgess and in my opinion halfbacks are not the type of players to get on loan from Super League. Props, Back rowers and wingers you can get away with it.

I think its when and not if Hayes goes back to Wire. Saying Williams could be up to 12 months out and may have played his last game for Warrington. Also Burgess has said Hayes will be getting game time for Warrington when discussing the Williams injury.
If Hayes is in Warringtons 18 man squad, will we recall Abdull? We need to be working on signing a half back and prop on a permanent basis. If only we had the money to pay a transfer fee for Hayes with the promise of a push for SL next season. Im not sure who else is available thats any good without looking at the Aussie market.
No one has singed Penne from Leigh, so they have been talking about him going out on loan and biding his time to break back into the first team, so he's a short term option at prop. Although after the last 2 wins it may not be a priority. A long term replacement for Abdull is essential to our progress.

Think the general feeling is Abdulls days are over ....I've a feeling if Hayes gets recalled by wire there'll be one of two things that'll happen...
1....most likely Lyons and Gilmore
2...Hayes goes back and we get Oli Leyland in return ..
With neither sneyd nor Irwin getting injured and excelling as a partnership against Wigan I'm reasonably confident we will still have Hayes for Sheffield game ...very unlikely Burgess will break up a winning formula
Well he's gone now, again we've released a player without sorting out a permanent replacement. We are not a serious club
I wonder to what extent this decision is financially motivated. Perhaps we just couldn't afford his wages with crowds of 2000. He was a fantastic player at this level. We will miss his creativity in the halves.
