Didn’t sound convincing but after a big effort against wire last week we will take the 2 points.

3 from 4 with 4 tough fixtures we should be happy with that!

week off to prepare for the derek cup away to York on 6th April

Always going to be a tough game away there- with 2 home league games to come we can't drop out of the Top 6 on the bye week so all in all a good win and a good start- I'd say nearly everyone except Hunslet will feel they can be Top 6 this season!

Top result I was on the fence if would win this game after the tough Warrington game. Full length of the pitch try from Cai Taylor Wray a player of his calibre may have got us this win.I see Halifax top of the league but I feel they will drop off with a few injuries and the honey moon period finishes with the coach.

I thought we did well to win today, not an easy place to go to and get a win, and after a very tough match last week. Fozzard played 70-75 minutes again, he’ll be glad of a week off. Another match were we went behind and looked as though Doncaster might win comfortably, but like most matches this season, we didnt give up and came back again, and deserved the win.

Hope  we can keep Taylor Wray for a few more matches , he looks really good, and is very quick, something none of the other players are.

And when did Paulie Paulie last play the full 80 minutes in a match?

I couldn't make it today but listened on the radio.

If ever there was a banana skin, that was it today. Doncaster area decent side and the game last week would have taken a lot out of us. I'd have taken a win by any means before KO.

Rest up now before a big QF at York, who had a good win today at Batley.

Shout out to James & his colleague, who as always, provided excellent commentary.

An excellent performance and result away from home against a huge pack, with fast and very mobile halves and lots of experience in the three quarters.   That Donny side, although ageing a bit, boasts in excess of 1500 first grade appearances in the NRL, SL and at International level.  Can’t see them losing many at home this season.
Luckily, we had the fastest back on the pitch in our own fullback, the pace and footwork of which we have not seen since Jonathan Davies and he was ultimately the difference on the day with that simply blistering try!!!  #COYV

CT-W is a quality player, seen him play a few times. He must be one of the quickest in SL.

Wish we had him season long!!

I'd agree with the OP, pretty oor in first half but still in touch ah HT. And good enough in second half to take the points. The kid from Warrington was lightening in broken play, a good addition if we can keep hold of him. Nice to go into bye week with a win and the momentum in our favour.

Winning away in this Championship is not easy and to have only lost one is good going!! That Donny team is packed with experience and muscle and will test any team at home.

So well done lads!!! Keep it going, maybe go and watch York this weekend?
