I wonder if the other signings are Cameron Brown and Romeo. Then hopefully a surprise final signing that is a strike center. To be fair I would be really happy with this squad, and it be interesting the bookies odds for us this season. Also do you still think a dual partnership because it may not be needed?

Important signing is the Fitness Conditioner and to help prevent injuries to a lower risk, and also having a bigger squad will help rather than some playing not fully fit. 👍
Apparently, Buckley has been playing second row recently rather than prop. Which might mean AC sees Bent as a middle rather than second row.

I think we are now very near to completing the squad- still prefer another centre, forwards are now fine - 4 props plus bent and Buckley who may cover
agree with earlier that Lloyd and roberts could cover centre but feel we need 1 more there

5 props and could put Buckley and Bent prop too. I would like at least 1 more out right centre specialist, but overall squad is decent and probably not bother with dual reg or loan players. Cameron Brown and Romeo would be ideal. In an emergency Lloyd and Roberts can be used. May be Coleman is looking at Bardsley Rowe on a season long loan.

That sounds good a utility player and we definitely require as 2 centres is not enough, because this our weakest recruitment at the moment. Yes we can put LLoyd and Roberts in as an emergency but not my ideal situation. We wont need loan or dual if got a decent squad and it be interesting if use loan this year at all. At least we do not look desperate now.
Agreed that we need another specialist centre as cover. It's all very well saying Roberts and Lloyd can play there in an emergency but should both Edge & Fleming get injured at the same time we could then be in trouble!
Owens has had a couple of poor seasons, is now unreliable under a high ball and beginning to lose speed. I don't know how his captaincy skills makes up for this, however am beginning to think we need another "proper" FB to either cover him or indeed maybe to replace him.

Exactly i think last season both were out at the same time and luckily we had Keenan Brand and Bardsley Rowe on loan. You know my feelings on Jack as a player, and we definitely need a fast fullback who is secure under high balls. Forwards, wings and halfbacks I am very happy with recruitment.
I suspect that Jacko was trying to plug a few gaps last year and it didn't help his game, but that shouldn't be needed with Patton on the field, so we'll just have to wait and see.
Hopefully mate as there is parts of his game that is very good coming into the line and a decent pass on him. The high balls just was a concern and his speed, but no harm in another fullback for competition. I thought Jack played well at centre.

Cameron Brown confirmed as a Viking, he can play at half back or fullback
@halfback-ragnarsson 25 man squad now, I'm guessing just Joey Romeo to announce now, who will provide the cover at centre.
Much more confident with players in our squad rather than trawling SL clubs during the season.
You can never be sure that SL clubs aren't going to be sufficiently injury free to be prepared to let players go.
It will be interesting to see how Fozzy & JJ etc use what looks like a pretty hefty pack!!
@dan1 wouldn't surprise me if he impresses from the off that brown gets the FB jersey and Owens moves into the centre's
