Just been down to the club to pick up our Season Tickets to find that the Tickets we received earlier in the season are the correct ones. You only need to pick up ST's if you did not pick them up earlier in the season.
What made you think that wasn't the case anyway?
Because the original issued ST does not have your "Block, Row number or Seat Number on them.
That's because it's unreserved seating, and the South Stand will not be open.IIRC

It should be open now restrictions have lifted. They said that would happen when selling the season tickets

There are still Covid protocols in place for players/ staff/ etc. Hence why matches are still being PP/cancelled. Hence why the S. Stand central areas will be closed. The home games are nearly done, let's just see it out, and worry about seat numbers in 2022.

It's putting some off, and the club can't afford to lose season ticket holder... a bit of communication about the regulations wouldn't go amiss, there's plenty of clubs announcing full open for business again, we're always one step behind it seems

Maybe the club are keeping restrictions in place for the sake of players and spectators safety.
After all covid is still rife in halton.
Obviously you don't understand or you don't really give a crunchie.

The rates are no different to other towns where RL is being played. Maybe they could confirm their plans to confirm your assumptions. How come other clubs are getting back to normal but we aren’t? These are not unreasonable questions

I get the the lack of communication.
But things are only going to get worse covid wise, and don't see the south stand opening as their is plenty of room to accommodate spectators.
Isn’t the ground owned by the council ? We seem to have this discussion over and over - perhaps it is a restriction still being enforced by the council ?
Anyway, like I said elsewhere - stay safe and healthy and roll on the 2022 season !!

Perhaps this perhaps that. That’s the point none of us know. It’s on the club to keep stake holders apprised. Communication out of the club has gone downhill this year

Not perhaps at all - the council own the ground and would enforce central or local government rules and restrictions.
With respect to communications at the club, as has been said a number of times this season - we are a part time club with very few full time staff, we are in a pandemic and we can’t afford and don’t have a media department - we are not a multi-national company with a world wide media department.
Given the circumstances, the club has done well through the web site and social media to keep people informed.
Central Government restrictions have been lifted and were announced on 12th July, that’s plenty of time to keep everybody informed
Plenty of other part time clubs have got everything in order including communication
I’m not sure why Widnes have it so tough compared to everybody else. If the club don’t sort this out they will lose fans if not already, it’s just how it is

I know central government restrictions have been lifted and I also know that the central government advised caution and self restraint too.
“Plenty of other part time clubs” don’t pay rent to Halton Council and wouldn’t be subject to any of the rules that our landlord might impose.
Communications from the council who have one or two more employees than WRLFC and who would also have a communications have been poor but the club can only tell people what it knows and what it is doing. Your complaint should be with the council not the club.
