Kato Ottio

Just saw on a PNG site that it is two years since he passed away. Still one of the saddest stories I’ve ever known in RL, but a great symbol of how RL unites minds across the world.

I often wonder how different events in our club might have been if he had not lost his life as he did. Perhaps one of the best, if not the best thing our former owners did was honouring payments to his family and providing what support they could.

Many players pass through our club and are quickly forgotten, but I don’t think there are many who have left such an indelible memory with me as Kato. God bless.

It's always sad to see someone die in rugby especially such a promising player as he is. RIP

Often wonder what could of been if he had played

Would he of been half as good as certain winger of the late 80s

R.I.P
