Seriously, whoever is behind these moves at the West Wales Raiders should be commended and fully supported by the RFL. Probably created more RL interest in the local area than SBW signing for TWP, with all the expense and hype attached - and the chances are once the game re-starts they will offer more on the pitch than SBW!.
At a time when RL is honouring the Welsh RL legends - the Cardiff Bay RL Codebreakers - surely the RFL should be asking whether a successful (in relative terms) expansion in Wales would be better for UK RL than an even bigger "pie in the sky" international expansion in North America.
Maybe the point is that Rangi will produce moves that they won't have seen anywhere, certainly not on a RU field. And that might encourage converts.
