Three Labour MPs -------------

I was wondering what had happened to the 3 MPs in question, not heard this story for a while. Googled it and it was a report that originated in the Mail on Sunday so, say no more.

Nice shiny budget yesterday. I did think though

  1. This is exactly the type of budget and fiscal approach that the Tories always level at Labour Govts as irresponsible, spend when you haven't got. I assume we won't hear that accusation levelled anymore as Tory policy is now the same.
  2. I don't disagree with the fiscal approach above. However, it is diametrically opposed to the Tory approach of 2010-2020 i.e. austerity. The current Govt approach is what the opposition (all parties) have been arguing for since 2010.

It will be interesting to see if free broadband and universal income get discussed in the next 4 or 5 years. If they do, this Johnson term will look more like Corbyn's 2019 manifesto than his own.

@rb

Question to ask is would Boris have followed (or may yet follow!) President Trump, should that occasion arise!
