Should we sit back and let them land grab Ukraine? What are we about? What's our options?
No-one wants a war but, you know?
If we sit back and do nothing, do you honestly think Putin will be satisfied with annexing Ukraine ? He will then try to take all of the former Soviet Bloc states back, starting with the weakest who will provide the least resistance. If NATO and the west show weakness now, he will never stop. Ukraine needs to get arms so that it can initiate pro-active attacks inside Russia. The people there will soon start to turn on Putin when non-military targets are hit. And yes, I know it would be taking Ukraine down to Russia's level but it's a war and very sadly, innocent people die. It's wrong I know. The relatives of the thousands of Ukrainian people killed by the targeted attacks on innocent people will confirm how wrong it is. It's a terrible business this but we need to stop this man and his army.
Putin is in Ukraine as nobody did anything when he went into Crimea. If you watch the programme about him that's running at the moment, you will see the type of person he is. He want's to bring back the old Soviet Union, and go back to it's former "glory". Whatever the cost in human life. And he will lie, deceive, manipulate, whatever is required to get there. He has carried out two assasinations in the UK, and got away with it. Totally brazen.
