As campaigning heads into the finishing straight for the by-election, it's...............
4/9 Polanski's People, 9/4 Farage's Followers, and 8/1 Starmer's Strugglers.
Is it GSAM for the Greens?
We'll soon know!
Spelly.
Less than 24 hours to the polling booths opening, and I've just checked the latest odds.
4/7 Greens, 5/2 Reform, but Labour have come in a lot, and are now as narrow as 3/1.
Could there yet be some (much needed) good news for the beleaguered PM?
Spelly.
So the Greens have won it, with Reform coming second, and Labour pushed into third place, putting even further pressure on the PM, but...............
Even though it was such a (so-called) huge event, less than half of Gortonians, and Dentonians, bothered to get off their arses, and head to the polling station!
What message does that send out?
Spelly.
@spelly Sadly Spelly, IMHO it demonstrates that far too many voters are convinced that priorities of politicians in all parties do not represent the real needs of the country.
Strange times in politics. As much as I hate Reform, there's encouragement there. 40% of the constituency is Muslim, and they all voted Green. 40% is white, and most have probably voted for Reform. Not every constituency will have that demographic. For those that don't, Reform look to be voter preference.
Pressure on Starmer, which he deserves. If he'd had a backbone about Gaza, Labour would have kept this seat.
700 votes for the Tories, confirming their absolute irrelevance.
Very strange. If Starmer can't pick up the Muslim vote Labour really are going to be absolutely decimated next time out.
Suspect there will be a mishmash of parties all picking up seats around the country, but I honestly think all of the leaders are nutjobs. KS, KB, NF, ED & the worst of the lot ZP. No idea who the next PM will be, the only prediction I'll make is that whoever it is will be terrible at it.
A sad state of affairs that I don't think there seems to be 1 good leader in any of the parties. The "smaller" 1s all have their leaders who won't change & then the "big 2" ,who won't be next time, have leaders who are useless and/or uninspiring.
Pressure on Starmer, which he deserves. If he'd had a backbone about Gaza, Labour would have kept this seat.
No chance of that, Labour, especially the cabinet are controlled by the zionists, 50% of the cabinet are in LFI, especially all the top positions
You have Cooper who has been found to have lied to Parliament over prescribing PAG and has received over £200000 from LFI
Healey supplying arms, Lammy, Reeves who was chairwoman, Powell etc etc
LFI just like Labour together don't say where their donations come from but Chinn has donated to both movements and Mr McSweeny who trained in Israel before joining Mandelson at Milbank House to help create the excalibur database of dirt and dodgy dealings on journalists and politicians funneled the money where it was needed
The majority of tories are in CFI, Lib dem leadership in their version and Farage is now cosying up to them
Starmer has Israeli spy firm Palantir now in all our major institutions, palantir honed their AI and software killing kids in Gaza
Until we remove all lobbying for foreign governments from our politics especially genocidal terrorist governments our priorities will never be for the British public
