York are going to play in a new stadium and seem to be assembling a good team, Ben Jones-Bishop being their latest signing.

I’ll be renewing my season ticket, so when the fixtures  are confirmed will be looking forward to at least being able to watch us play them live on Vimeo (or other similar screening). That’ll be a good test for our new coach and his squad.

Yes, they ground share with York City FC who play in the National League North.

The new stadium is an all seater like ours - but a smaller capacity, just 8,500.

8500 that’s more than enough, fair play to them, they have been through some really hard times(sounds familiar)

I see James Ford has stayed there - that is a statement in itself

put it down for an away trip this season

Not as good a squad that Featherstone now have. Their pack although looking older than ours is mainly comprised of former regular Super League players which I would say is on paper far superior to ours..

York haven't really got much in the key positions - 1, 6, 7, 9. Lots of past it Super League players in the pack and out wide.
