I wonder what the response will be when some Russian Billionaire offers to buy Wigan and move it to Moscow to be part of the super duper international league - Moscow Warriors; and St Helens bought out by a Saudi Arabian Sheikh - Riyadh Saints; and even Warrington bought out by a multi-millionaire from that town in Germany near to the mountain called Wank Berg Wank - Wank Wolves. (Very apt!!)
Could there be a time when the Super League in UK actually has no teams based in the UK, but loaded with cash!! Oh what a beautiful game.

So in the end its money that counts - totally!Imagine how Degsy would feel if Newcastle did buy promotion, or maybe he will just make a counter bid for TWP and call themselves Leigh.
There is really no certainty for any club in SL if cash will buy a place. They could and would relegate any team to cash in on a TV deal or whatever ( we do have history in this area).

TWP players, including Joe Mellor, today asking for RFL help after not being paid for three months. It is a disgrace and reflects poorly on the RFL to even consider allowing TWP to continue in SL. They should end the NA expansion fiasco now.
Its ok, not like more North American teams are coming in any time soon..........
Maybe the RFL could lend tbem some of our Academy money!
Not criticising the players but they took a chance, great money etc, but it didn't pay off - let the buyer beware. Bet Ted and Jay are looking at their contracts and checking for insurance.
