1) Fair enough mate!
2) Were you due to play 'Fax? If so, Chemics v 'Ornits might now be on!
Spelly,
Lions 6-84 Broncos this aft at Heywood Road, and as dominant a win for the visitors as the scoreline suggests.
We scored with our first attack, but from then on, it was one way traffic, with FT against PT.
I said before a ball was kicked, that London wouldn't lose a league match this season, and saw nowt today to alter my opinion.
Four teams remain on zero points, Worky, 'Haven, Batley, and us............
But summat's gotta give next week, coz we're at the Mount.
We're (not quite) cellar-dwellers, as 'Haven's points diff is even worse than ours, but...............
Things need to change, and quickly!
Spelly.
A couple of short-term forward loanees from Saints, are in contention to play at the Mount for us on Sunday.
Leon Cowen, and Alfie Sinclair are back, after DR-ing last term.
Spelly.
Reckon they could make a difference for you
@spelly I know to win at Batley is tough but I did not expect Swinton to be rock nottom only team without a point after round 5. What is going on? Thought you would have beaten Rochdale for one.
Is your squad that much weaker than 2 years ago when you were competetive against the Vikings?

We were woeful today mate, where it finished 'Dogs 54-6 Lions, and as you say, we're the cellar-dwellers, and deservedly so!
Batley are nowt special, but they were still far too good for us today.
The only crumb of comfort is that the Pinks got stuffed at Donny.
Thunder at home next week.
Spelly.
Can we finally get our campaign going on Sunday?
Thunder come a-calling, and in league football, they're (with a bit of help from the Knights) on P4, W2, L2, whilst we're on zero comp points from our five outings. Only 'Fax's deduction is keeping us from being basement boys.
One bad (and infuriating!) habit we need to get rid of, is conceding on, or very close to the hooter at the interval. It's happened in the last four games!
It won't be easy, coz the guys from the north-east, are obviously a far better unit than last term, but summat needs to happen, and quickly! Hopefully as soon as Sunday!
COME ON YOU LIONS!!!!!!!!!!
Spelly.
@spelly Trust me Spelly you are not the only ones prone to that Widnes maintained their pattern last Sunday, in fact with the exception of Oldham, may I suggest it is the norm?
Wgot Deacon
We've got Deacon Connelly on loan from you for a month.
Comments please!
Thank you!
Spelly.
Just back from Heywood Road, where it finished Lions 4-36 Thunder.
Positives? It was (a bit) better than last week, but still second best by a distance.
Negatives? Whilst the effort was there, a couple of their tries were just "stroll-ins" and not once, but twice, we failed to find touch from penalties. Unforgiveable!
Again, the pain was eased by the Pinks getting stuffed, this time up at Worky, but.............
We're still sitting on zero comp points, only being kept off the bottom by "New" 'Fax.
Next up for us, is a week today, when he host Sheff in the 1895 prelim. They had a good win today at 'Ornits, so it defo won't be easy.
Spelly.
Anthony Murray has joined us as assistant coach.
He left 'Haven last week, coz of the pressures of travelling up there, and was on the touchline yesterday.
Let's hope he can help us to get rid of our unwanted record of zero comp points very quickly!
Spelly.
