We've signed Jordan Case from you mob.
My mate at 'Ornits, where he played previously, describes him as an "Absolute Machine"
How say you please?
We now have twenty signed on, and it's only November!
Spelly.
We've re-signed Nick Gregson, which I'm delighted about!
He was was my choice as player of the year last season, but finished runner up behind Mickey Butt.
Some Chemics sat near me at OT for the GF, were convinced he signed for you mob, and to be honest, I was resigned to the fact that he wouldn't be a Lion next term!
Runs his blood to water every time he pulls a shirt on.
Twenty one in the squad already!
Happy days!
Spelly
Our latest signing is half-back Lewis Charnock, taking the total of those registered to the desired twenty-five.
A full squad on board by mid November, is pretty good business in my opinion.
We've retained the majority from last year, plus a few new faces as well.
Promotion at the first attempt has got to be the aim, but the likes of Donny, Keighley, Roughyeds, and 'Ornits will no doubt be having similar thoughts!
Bring it on, and.................
COME ON YOU LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
Spelly.
West Wales at home is our opening league game.
March 27th is the date (if it's on the Sunday) and that co-incides with my mam's heavenly birthday.

Flight, and hotel booked for Cornwall away!
Flying to Newquay, and staying in Penryn about 20 minutes walk from the ground.
Flying Friday, game Saturday, returning Sunday.
Bring it on!

West Wales away in the Cup!
Couldn't have been much worse than that! 😣
Spelly.
Just spotted this Spelly , i love it when things like this happen.

Yeah - Nice touch mate.
The final was a two-legged affair, first at Pinksville, then (I think) a week later at the Shrine.
Beating S*****d wasn't as uncommon then as it is now, but it was still summat special!

I wonder if Gavin Henson will be playing for his once a season cup game??

I don't know about that mate, but there might be no fans there, as the "behind closed doors" rule was extended yesterday for a further two weeks.
The game is still three weeks away, so fingers crossed!

Two pre-season friendlies for us.
We're at the Pinks a week today, then host 'Haven tomorrow fortnight.
Tickets booked for both, even though I'll be on duty (prob stewarding) at Heywood Road.
The AJ Bell is a double header, as their ladies and the Lionesses go head to head, prior to the men's clash.
Spelly.
Pinks 48-12 Lions at a cold Ding Dong Bell this aft.
As previously when asked for a prediction prior to a game like this, my answer has been "Keep 'em below 50, and score a try."
Well we did, and scored two as well!
We bossed the first ten minutes, but couldn't break their line, then in their first real attack, they scored, registering another two before we had ball in hand again, and it was 26-0 at the interval.
We scored first after the break, but they responded immediately, and a similar scenario would describe the next two touchdowns.
It's not difficult to spot the differences between FT and PT footballers, as they were quicker than us in all aspects. Their lads won't be getting up at 7.00am on Monday morning to go to work.
What (if anything) either coach learned from the eighty minutes, apart from blowing off the cobwebs, and putting a (very) few quid in the till, is debatable, but at least the season is underway.
Will today be our / my last visit to Barton? Won't miss it one bit, if it was.
We host 'Haven a week tomorrow in our second friendly, then in a fortnight, it's West Wales away in the Cup, with the good news being that it won't be behind closed doors, as Wales' restrictions on crowd numbers were eased from today, and will cease from next week.
