Well reading beaumonts comments he reckons SL does not need sky as there are enough sugar daddies behind the teams to self survive.

also mention of July 28th meeting to vote on a 14 team league - either in 2026 or 2027

as well IMG ratings discussed as to whether that will be the criteria to decide the 14

when is the next IMG review - is it the end of this season, if so the top championship teams will probably be Toulouse, York  and either bradfraud or London, salfraud will probably be below these and I reckon we will vie with fev for the next place

however shudds could be in trouble as they will have not moved to the shay by then so they also may be binned

thoughts ?

Wow, does mean that Beaumont and his mates with other SL Clubs and those funding Championship teams, will find the £20m from the current Sky deal, in addition to what they are putting in now to their own Clubs? Indeed, sunny uplands for RFL, but highly unlikely.

Maybe they will also fund the Championship and League 1 teams, so that would be required to run an academy and reserve team, but I must have dreamt that!!!
