Sky SL coverage

Would you prefer Sky to show just 4 SL games a week, one a day Thursday to Sunday, but all on a main sports channel, or to carry on what they are doing at the moment, which is showing all 7 matches, but 5 of them on the red button?

On a slightly wide point, am I the only person who is fed up with Super League matches that fail to live up to the 'hype'?

The latest let down was Warrington v Leeds last night.

On almost every occasion, eagerly awaited games between the top teams simply fail to deliver and the game ends up being a one sided thrashing.

Where's the entertainment value in that?

Personally, I blame the system and the play-offs in particular.

Because the quality of the competition just isn't there, there are too many opportunities for teams to 'have a week off' simply because they know that they will be in play-offs regardless.

This season's re-jig in both SL and the Championship, has managed to devalue the quality of the competitions at a stroke, and the reality should have been a SL of ten teams, and the rest split equally between the Championship and League 1.  If that equates to an odd number of teams in League 1, then so be it.  Its not beyond the realms of man to sort out that particular problem.

Just ditch the IMG and the London obsessed model and get back to basics.

Its the only way the game will survive in its current form.

Well, I wasn't wrong was I?

Another disappointing game between two of the top teams in the division.

This time it was Leeds and Hull KR game that failed to live up the hype, which I believe is all it is these days, as so many matches fail to deliver.

How on earth can the Sport hope to attract any new supporters/viewers when the product on show is distinctly average with no excitement or entertainment value.

Again, I suggest that the league set up needs to go back a more simplified first past the post system, with the team who finishes top as Champions.  Then, have a separate play off system amongst the top eight, to determine the Premiership winners !

And wouldn't that help Make Wembley Great Again?!!!
